Truly authentic Philippine cuisine , good service. Good food. I would want them to change the name of the restaurant i.e Manila Cafe, etc.
The cheesesteak is my favorite and a little bird told me there will soon be treats and fresh cooked Filipino food there too!! Masarap! But the Pork Adobo is my new fave.
Very small Cafe and somewhat limited to staff's potential and dedication to helping the customer...Went in 15 mins before they were closing and asked for a cup of coffee. Was told that everything was already taken down! Now, I stated I just wanted a house brew normal cup of coffee...The girl that was working, said very snobbly, well, next time try and get here earlier be cause we all have lives too! I turned and walked out the door! Very discouraged and unsatisfied!!
Came to have a drink of coffee, and got so distracted having good conversations with Jeff (the owner) that I almost forgot to drink it. Tried a new Filipino dish (didn't know what to expect, but was glad I tried it), and relaxed in the very comfortable, inviting atmosphere. If you're looking for a new place to try out, I'd recommend it- though it is more of a "snacking" cafe than a "drinking" cafe.
The only and best Filipino food around. Jeff and his dad are the nicest people.
