I was experiencing severe back and leg pain. After waiting in an exam room for 3 hours, I was finally seen by a PA. He looked me straight in the face and told me I was basically depressed and imagining it all. He suggested I seek out a neurologist. I was completely humiliated and angry. No IV, no medicine, no blood tests, no mri not even my temperature taken. I sought out different medical care and come to find out I have two bulging discs (t4 and t10) and fibromyalgia.
I just spent almost a week in Samaritan having two neck surgeries. And right from the moment I arrived I was treated with kindness and respect. The staff on the 5th floor are a great bunch of people. Even the 2 guys bringing my food were kind and asked I they could do anything to help. When I hit the call button at 2 A.M. the response was always fast and compassionate.
The staff at this hospital really lacks professionalism. It’s also very dirty here. My father is in ICU and you would think it’s nurses social hour, so loud and completely unaware of how irritated people are getting. When my father was being prepped for surgery the nurse said “don’t worry about the gown, no one is gonna see your package”. Just really surprised at how horrible it is here! The one star is for his outstanding surgeon, Dr. Ovsath.

Came to the er with my daughter they bring you to fast track now we have been sitting in this room and havent even been acknowledged but of you go to the desk the nurse is sitting their on her cell phone and the doctor just keeps walking by in and out of the fast track area not a very good hospital because they are not professional or courtious
My son went into the ER last night with a sports injury at 10pm. After waiting until 3:00am without anybody paying attention, he had to return. The "emergency" in ER is missing. There were 4 other people with him and none of them were attended to. Very bad service.
