Easy location to get to off highway. Great hospitality. Free breakfast with juices, fresh fruit, Belgian waffles, the works! Very nice room with fridge, coffee maker, flat screen, wifi. Parking garage alongside, in case of full lot at hotel, but we had no trouble parking in the hotel lot. Definitely recommend.
Overall very pleasant experience for all 4 in our group. Breakfast offerings were above and beyond the usual "free breakfast" at other chains.
When I arrived there was a man outside the hotel in his pajama bottoms and a greasy T shirt. I'm not sure what he was on, but he wasn't a happy camper. The parking lot was full so I was directed to the parking garage next door but after a drive through I didn't think I had enough insurance on the rental to trust parking midst the winos and the drug deals going down.
BUT worth it for all reasons mentioned above!
We stayed in newly renovated part of hotel... very nice.
Great location across the street from wedding venue/Franklin plaza... quick walk!
Front desk staff was also outstanding ... helpful, friendly & courteous .. as was the young man working Sun AM in breakfast room & the housekeeping woman Sun AM.
The first night I was there someone tried to open my door multiple times during the night. I assumed it was a drunk the first few times but got up anyway. When I mentioned the disturbance to the hotel clerk he said that they were undergoing renovations and maybe it was one of the contractors who was confused with the room numbers. Really? In the middle of the night? Multiple times? I don't know whether they have a locking key system for the outside doors but surely they have security inside the halls... Wouldn't stay again if you paid me....

Very nice hotel. Great attentive staff. Very clean and lots of amenities. There was no exhaust fan in bathroom which was unusual. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast offering was quite extensive adjacent to the lobby which was cozy and spacious. Biggest drawback was very limited parking in their lot.
After a long, exhausting journey, it was a pleasure to walk into tho lobby of the BW and be greeted by a warm, welcoming staff. They quickly and efficiently checked us into our room and offered us cookies and a choice of beverages to relax with. The hotel and our room were immaculate and beautifully decorated. My wife could not find a hair dryer in the room and housekeeping helped me get one immediately. Everyone on staff was cheerful and helpful. I would highly recommend The Best Western of Troy New York!!!
