Our drivers and monitors do their best to take good care of the students they transport daily. Star and Strand transports over 1500 students each day. There are many challenges in transporting these mostly special needs and pre-school students in 80 buses to almost 100 schools and programs in the area. Drivers and monitors are required to undergo many hour's of training each year. Star and Strand is aways looking to add quality employees to the operation.
I went there for defensive driving class taught by Scott, excellent job. Enjoyed the class very much.
Horrible company they don't respect theses kids there rude and not a company that I would recommend to anyone.
Horrible company my child who is mentally disabled was attacked verbally by bus driver and attendant. Called a retarded because he did not know his address. Mind u he is 7 and menatlly 5. I reported this to supervisior they did nothing not even a simple apology. Then sent the same driver to my home to get him the next day.
Not a good place to work they are not fair with new bee's. If you work there stay out if the drivers room thay talk to much about ppl and sex.
