My mother was being seen by Dr Verdini with concerns of neuropathy, she had also seen an Orthopedic surgeon as well, who had ordered an MRI for symptoms in addition to the neuropathy. When seeing Dr Verdini, we provided the results of the MRI and the offered course of treatment from the Orthopedic surgeon, looking for his opinion as well, he strongly indicated he was against the offered treatment of surgery and when I asked what the reason for his opinion was, he became very indignant with me. He offered nothing more than saying it is his opinion and if i didn't like it we were welcome to get a second opinion. He was also very insulting as i tried to get more information from him so that both my Mother and I would have as much information as possible to make a very difficult decision. Unfortunately, we left his office not feeling respected or confident that we had his best medical opinion and will now have to get a second opinion.
I first went to Dr.John Verdini back in 1994.I had a very bad case of Trigeminal Neuralgia.Dr.Verdini is an excellent and very friendly Doctor.I went back to him a couple more times when i was in a car accident and suffered a concussion.Again a few years latter with Trigeminal.I like him as a Doctor and a friend you can talk with.I have no problems with Dr.John Verdini,he is a great guy.David Keyishian
